The use of stopping the trailer at the point in which they have done provides the audience with enough judgement of the film without giving too much away. This has been done in such away that the audience can identify what the film is about, to know that it is a follow up film through having the characters know they are transformers. If the consumers had previously watched a film based on transformers then they would probably want to watch this one.

Fades are usually used within trailers. This trailer has done something different through the use of using fades between each shot. This is something that is not done in all trailers but for this trailer it works with the genre and build the suspense of what is going to happen. It provides a greater impact upon the audiences decision to watch the film.

These shots are normally used in trailers, providing the detail the audience needs to get their attention to encourage them to watch the film.
